
TUNKU DATO’ SERI ISKANDAR Group Managing Director of Melewar Group Berhad which has investments in various sectors including financial services, tourism, education, logistics, real estate development and construction. Tunku Iskandar is also the Chairman of Neucor Holdings Pte Ltd and Neucor Alliance (M) Sdn Bhd, which are in distribution and direct selling in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. He is also on the Board of Directors of Kentridge International Institute PLC (UK).
In 2001, he was appointed to the National Economic Consultative Council (NECC) of Malaysia which was formed to advise the Government on the country's strategic planning.
Tunku Iskandar holds a Master of Science Degree in International Marketing of the University of Strathclyde, UK. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), the Institute of Administrative Management (UK) and the Institute of Marketing Malaysia. In 1984, he received the "Triple-A" Alumni Achievement Award from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines.
He was awarded the Darjah Setia Negeri Sembilan (DNS) in 1987 and was also awarded the Darjah Seri Paduka Tuanku Ja'afar Yang Terpuji (DPTJ) in 1989 by His Royal Highness Yang DiPertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
Mr. Jayapal, the Architect of AEC Business School in India and abroad, a visionary in education, currently serves on the sub Committees of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS). He was a council member of ACCA, Singapore Branch in various capacities. He was also an International Assembly member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He was an active member of British Alumni, being in the committee in various capacities. Jayapal has been an associate consultant for National Productivity Board of Singapore and was trained in Japan.
Jayapal was one of the Founder Members and Past President of the Institute of Management Consultants and served in the council for 12 years in various positions. To date, Jayapal has 28 years strategic business and management experience, including being the CEO of a London Listed Company and helped in restructuring many companies in business, finance and management. Jayapal has been with Touch Ross, Pannell Kerr Forster, Parker Randall and now with McMillan Woods.
Ms .Ritu Manchanda, MCom, has over 25 years of experience in the education sector and has brought breadth and depth to the administration of many private institutions. She has personally liaised with reputable overseas universities for the last 15 years and has looked into areas such as on-boarding, accreditation, supervision and conduct of university programmes in abroad countriesboth for the Malay/Muslim community and for the general market at large. She managed the Trinity of College London Programmes in Singapore, headed the Department of Accounting and EFL at FTMS and was the Academic Head at AEC Education Group. She worked as the Director of Studies at Cambridge School of Languages. She was the CEO of AEC Business School in Chennai, India where students were recruited for engineering programmes in Temasek Polytechnic. She worked as a Manager for JBS International College, an affiliate of Jamiyah Singapore, a non profit organization handling the ‘youth at risk programmes’.
She has worked closely with marketing heads to ensure that courses are pitched effectively to the target market. She is adept at managing stake holder expectations especially students and shareholders. She is also a lead auditor (ISO9001-2008). She is well regarded by CPE, Spring and by Case Trust.
She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration in the area of Quality Assurance in private education. She is continuously improving her knowledge and experience in managing larger schools and establishments. She is able to provide insight from within the Education Ministry and can assist in direction setting, strategy conception and corporate governance.
